In occasion of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2013 the Roberto Cavalli Group is launching the new“Roberto Cavalli Home” collection.
Unique products inspired by the Roberto Cavalli style, long since applied in the interior of his own homes, his yachts, boutiques and clubs. Fantasy, memories of a journey, a dream, a passion for beauty—each a source of inspiration for the creation of unique objects and environments.
Select choices, inspired by colour, realized and adapted according to the furnishings, drawing on different fabrics and materials, set off by a single print, dye or effect, transforming them into exclusive pieces.

In order to create the Roberto Cavalli Home Collection, the Roberto Cavalli Group has signed important licensing agreements with prestigious partners, whose expertise lies in various product areas: from furniture to furnishings, from ceramics to wallpaper and textiles to porcelain.
In keeping with the philosophy and the DNA of the brand that has always combined the concept of fashion and design with glamour and sensuality, Roberto Cavalli Home is inspired by the iconic prints and patterns of the most significant collections of the Maison: from animal print to damask, the colors and textures overlapping. Great care and attention is devoted to the choice of materials and fabrics, the matching of pieces and processing.
The license agreements signed in 2011 with various partners include the development, creation, production and distribution of Roberto Cavalli Home goods in various specialized channels. The selected partners are: JC Passion Srl for the line furniture and soft furnishings; Industrie Emiliana Parati SpA for the creation of a line of wallpaper; Gruppo Ceramiche Ricchetti SpA, for ceramic tiling and flooring for both exteriors and interiors; Caleffi SpA for the bed, bath and table linen line: Roubini Inc. for handwoven carpets and tapestries; Formia International Srl for lamps and lighting fixtures in Murano glass, and Arnolfo di Cambio – Compagnia Italiana del Cristallo Srl for the Art de La Table.
The Roberto Cavalli Group introduced these new category ranges, not only in the Italian market, in Europe and in the US, but also in the strong emerging markets such as in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, China and Asia.
On the 10th of April 2013, the launch of the new Roberto Cavalli Home collection was presented at the Spazio Edit, located in Via Maroncelli 14, in Milan with a special artistic installation called ‘Gold, Excess and Love’ composed by a selected number of iconic golden décor elements of the collection, created specifically for the event. The space also featured a life-size replica of Roberto Cavalli creative studio as well as an installation where a selection of iconic Cavalli gowns was displayed to create a setting where fashion, style and interior design are combined to convey the Cavalli lifestyle in an exclusive way.
Among the items displayed at the ‘Gold, Excess and Love’ event:
The “Marcella” armchair is linked to Florence, birthplace of the designer, reinterpreting and recapturing the classic Savonarola chair shapes with a modern twist thanks to the use of metal and pony skin.
The “Paris” armchair is inspired by the world of leather and prints and presents a leather upholstery.
The “Limbo” ottoman is a classic Cavalli reinterpretation with button capitonné workmanship.
Inspired by the Roberto Cavalli world, these three pieces of the Interiors collection are created in a Gold limited edition.: JC Passion for Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors.
Gres Porcelain is used to create the limited golden edition “Rinascimento Versailles”, 50X50cm perfectly sized monocaliber, for these unique pieces completed with an artisanal applied golden liquid tangential to the entire surface of the product. This process makes the porcelain color homogeneous and shiny while maintaining the geometry and essence of the wooden aspect intact: Gruppo Ceramiche Ricchetti for Roberto Cavalli Home Luxury Tiles.
The “Pantera” and “Michelangelo” Gold Edition wallpapers masterfully express the DNA of the brand in its traditional animal prints.: Industrie Emiliana Parati for Roberto Cavalli Home Wallpaper.
Plaid velvet pillows and animal print silk pillows are enriched by light golden hue details which express the exclusivity of the textiles used: Mirabello Carrara – Gruppo Caleffi for Roberto Cavalli Home Linen.

Light vases with soft silhouettes create a modern and luminous collection, emphasized by the extreme transparence of the Murano glass. Refined and substantial, the “Gold Proteo” collection is created in limited edition for Roberto Cavalli in the exclusive mirrored amber finishings, which reflect the shades and enriches the surroundings: Formia International for Roberto Cavalli Home Luxury Murano Glass.
“Gold” teacups, hand painted and made in gold, are offered in a limited edition : the mirror effect creates a series of reflective and lighting effects, conveying importance to the products and enriching them with decorative elements: Arnolfo di Cambio for Roberto Cavalli Home Luxury Tableware.
The ‘Gold, Excess and Love’ installation will be open to the public until Sunday the 14th of April 2013, with free access from 10AM to 8PM.
