It all started when an aspiring young ground squirrel stepped into the family photo of Melissa Brandts in Alberta, Canada’s Banff National Park.
After showing up onNational Geographic’s web site it was picked up by The Interwebs, and then is internet history.
Squirrels are now bombing everywhere, clogging the tubes and interrupting many a classic moment. For Twitter there’s even a Twibbon to help you show your support for the venerable portrait-crashing rodent.
If you want your picture to get Squirelized there is a dedicated web site here.
