'Bonnie and Clyde' Shooting

Bonnie and Clyde are back in town!

March issue of Harper’s Bazaar US pairs up the Russian model Anna Selezneva and the actor Wes Bentley (do you remember him from ‘American beauty’?) for Peter Lindbergh’s version of the infamous outlaws.

Could be the current financial crisis that leads instantly Harper’s Bazaar US to the Great Depression time and its bank robberies? Hard to answer! What is really great with this shooting is the homage it pays to ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ (1967) staring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty.

The Most Wanted couple in the American history is re-imagined nowadays by the stylist Aleksandra Woroniecka. I love to see again the gun-swinging style icon of Faye Dunaway but with this season’s most thrilling daywear (details, here).

At that moment, her look was setting the new chic across the US, back to the thirties: berets, bob haircut and pencil skirts.

It’s been a week since my first bob haircut came in my life along a chic beret so, yes, I admit the styling from Bonnie and Clyde movie is still relevant in society today.
